A Simple Solution for Storing Sewing Machine Needles

If you're anything like me, you'll know the frustration of rummaging through tins or boxes trying to find the right sewing machine needle when you need it. Those little plastic cases are easy to lose, and before you know it, you've got a jumbled collection with no idea which needle is which.

That's exactly why I designed this hanging needle storage organiser.

The Problem with Needle Storage

Sewing machine needles come in all sorts of types – ballpoint, universal, stretch, denim, leather – and keeping them organised matters. Using the wrong needle can damage your fabric or break mid-project. But storing them properly shouldn't mean dedicating an entire drawer to a handful of small cases.

A Practical Wall-Mounted Solution

This felt organiser hangs neatly on your wall, keeping up to 8 packs of sewing machine needles visible and within reach. You can hang it from your pegboard if you've already got one, or simply pop two nails in the wall.

The beauty of using felt is that it does double duty. Not only does it hold the needle cases in its pouches, but you can also stick loose needles directly into the fabric when you need quick access to them. It's one of those simple features that makes a real difference when you're in the middle of a project.
